The Club celebrated one of its most successful seasons at two packed out Presentation Events on 10th and 12th June at the prestigious Middleton Arena. Ex Oldham Athletic favourite and current Leicester City player Ritchie Wellens presented squad trophies to players from our Soccer School though to our U16s team in recognition of their season’s endeavours. Each team also received individual awards for Club Man, Most Improved, Players Player and Managers Player of the season.

The following teams also had their successes acknowledged:-

Under 7s – East Manchester - Cup Winners
Under 8s – East Manchester - Cup Finalists
Under 10s – East Manchester - Division 3 League Winners
Under 12s – East Manchester - League and Cup Double Winners
Tameside Sunday  - League and Cup Double Winner
Under 13s – Tameside Sunday - Cup Winners

From a Club perspective it was pleasing to note that the majority of players in our trophy winning teams had graduated from our highly successful soccer school. Our U7s Manager Danny Kevens was presented with the David Knight Memorial Trophy for outstanding contribution to the Club.

The club was also presented with the prestigious FA Charter Standard Community Award at the Oldham Athletic home game v Brentford  on 22nd January 2011. This was a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and commitment of the club’s committee, team managers, assistants and volunteers whose efforts, week in week out, provide football to some 250 youngsters from within the borough.
